How it works
CarrySuit is a fully passive upper body exoskeleton — no motors, no batteries. A rigid metal frame worn around the upper body creates an alternative load path: instead of the full payload being carried by the arms and shoulders alone, a large portion of the weight is transferred directly to the hips. Loads are connected to the frame via snap hooks or interchangeable adapters (clamps, suction cups, bands) for different object types. An emergency release mechanism allows the load to be disconnected instantly at any time. The metal frame is adjustable for back length and hip width, while the textile interface adapts to individual body proportions.

How are loads connected to the CarrySuit?
Loads are connected via snap hooks included as standard. For objects that cannot be hooked directly, interchangeable adapters are available — including clamps for boxes, suction cups for smooth surfaces, and flexible bands for irregular shapes.
Is there a quick release in case of emergency?
Yes. An emergency release mechanism allows the load to be disconnected instantly by pressing two buttons simultaneously. The mechanism can then be reconnected with a click confirmation.
What is the maximum payload?
The maximum total payload is 50 kg, with a maximum of 25 kg per strap. Both straps must always be loaded evenly.
What maintenance does CarrySuit require?
Monthly visual inspection of all components. Textile parts are removable and machine-washable at 30°C — mild detergent, no fabric softener, gentle spin, no tumble dry. Metal parts are wiped with a damp cloth.
Who should not use CarrySuit?
Workers with existing musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, or health problems should not use the CarrySuit. Only healthy adults aged 20–65, trained in its use, may operate it.
