How it works
DeltaSuit is a fully passive shoulder exoskeleton — no motors, no batteries. Integrated spring elements generate support torque at the shoulder joint during arm elevation, reducing the effort needed to hold and control elevated arm positions. Part of the load is redirected through the supportive frame, bypassing the shoulder muscles. Two selectable support levels allow adaptation to task intensity. Arm cuffs can be put on and taken off independently while keeping the vest on, allowing workers to switch between supported and unsupported tasks without removing the device.
Suited for these tasks

Overhead fastening, tool work and line-side operations with frequent elevated reaches in manufacturing.
Construction
Ceiling installation, drilling, painting, and overhead fastening with sustained arm elevation.
Logistics & Maintenance
Order picking at height, stocking, inspection, and routine maintenance with repeated elevated reaches.
Utilities & Infrastructure
Cabling, pipework, and overhead installation tasks in plants and infrastructure environments.
FAQ
What is the DeltaSuit designed for?
Overhead and elevated arm tasks where strain builds up in the shoulder-neck-arm chain over the shift. It provides dynamic support for prolonged arm elevation.
Can the support level be adjusted?
Yes. The DeltaSuit offers two selectable support levels. The switch is adjusted before putting on the device, or with assistance while wearing it.
Can I use the DeltaSuit for tasks that mix overhead and non-overhead work?
Yes. The arm cuffs can be put on and locked behind the back independently, allowing workers to switch between supported and unsupported tasks without removing the vest.
Does the DeltaSuit affect tool control or precision?
No. The device supports the upper body and arms, not the tool. Reduced fatigue can actually improve consistency and precision over time during repetitive overhead cycles.
How is the DeltaSuit cleaned?
Textile components are removable and machine-washable at 30°C — mild detergent, no fabric softener, gentle spin, no tumble dry. Non-textile parts are wiped with a damp cloth.
Who should not use the DeltaSuit?
People with existing shoulder, neck, or other musculoskeletal conditions should consult a medical professional before use. Only healthy adults trained in its use may wear the device.
