How it works
ARTUS is a fully passive finger and hand exoskeleton — no motors, no batteries. Three proprietary technologies work together: DigiLock actively stabilizes finger joints to prevent overextension and reduce strain injuries; DigiSkin maintains natural haptic feedback so workers can perform precise tasks while staying protected; Size Wizard ensures a personalized fit for every hand shape and size. Forces applied to the fingertips are redistributed through the exoskeleton structure, preventing both acute crush injuries and long-term degenerative conditions caused by repetitive strain.
Suited for these tasks
Automotive manufacturing
Assembly tasks requiring precise hand movements and protection from strain and joint overextension.
Industrial assembly
Repetitive gripping, fastening, and tool use where finger and wrist fatigue accumulates over the shift.
Logistics
Picking, packing, and handling operations with repetitive hand movements and impact exposure.
Construction & Trades
Manual tasks involving tools, cutting risks, crush hazards, and sustained grip force.
FAQ
Can ARTUS prevent carpal tunnel syndrome?
Yes. By preventing joint overextension, stabilizing finger joints, and supporting natural hand movement, ARTUS reduces repetitive stress on tendons and nerves — directly addressing the root causes of carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and arthritis.
Does ARTUS affect dexterity or haptic feedback?
No. DigiSkin technology maintains natural haptic feedback, allowing workers to perform delicate, precise tasks while wearing ARTUS without loss of sensitivity or control.
Is ARTUS certified as PPE?
Yes. ARTUS has been tested and certified as personal protective equipment, meeting applicable safety regulations for industrial use.
What versions are available?
ARTUS comes in two versions: AF (finger only, 6–15 g) and AT (with wrist component, 35–45 g). Multiple sizes are available, with Size Wizard technology to ensure an optimal fit for every user.
How resistant is ARTUS to crush forces?
The fingertip structure withstands a maximum compressive load of 500 N (~50 kg static load). The exoskeleton has been tested for over 500,000 cycles at ergonomic stress levels.
Who is ARTUS suitable for?
Workers in any industry where hands are exposed to repetitive strain, impact risk, or joint overextension — including automotive, logistics, assembly and construction.
