Knauf’s plant in Mednikarovo, Bulgaria, already works with two Auxivo LiftSuit exoskeletons supplied by ExoPower. On 4 October 2026, the ExoPower team returned to the plant to prepare a wider rollout. Production staff tried two passive back-support exoskeletons: the LiftSuit by Swiss maker Auxivo and the Hapo BACK by French maker Hapo.

They tested both during the movements their shifts are made of: bending, lifting and carrying loads. Each model was fitted to the wearer, and the two designs were compared against the tasks of specific workstations.
